Andantino Music Lessons Academy offers piano, percussion, and drum classes across Palm Beach County, from private in-home lessons to online instruction. Our comprehensive musical education covers essential elements like Music Theory, Singing, Ear Training, Rhythm Training, Music Appreciation, Harmony, and Composition. Lessons are tailored to the unique goals and abilities of each student, exploring styles from classical to contemporary, popular, and jazz music.
At Andantino Music Lessons Academy, students have the opportunity to showcase their progress by performing in public recitals for friends and family. Our mission is to foster a lifelong love for music in children, ignite their passion for the arts, and support their holistic development through music.
David Rodríguez, founder and lead instructor, holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance and Education with a specialization in Piano and Percussion from the esteemed Amadeo Roldán Music Conservatory in Havana, Cuba. His musical journey began at an early age, growing up in a family of musicians, which inspired him to pursue a career in music. He has performed with renowned artists such as the Gipsy Kings and Tito Puente Jr., and has collaborated on international music projects across Europe, including the United Kingdom and France.
David’s extensive experience includes roles as a music teacher at Key Point Academy, Band Director at the School of Rock in West Palm Beach, and instructor at Sam Ash and Guitar Center in Miami. He is also an active musician and volunteer, playing worship music at the Church of Christ of the Palm Beaches.
With over a decade of teaching experience, David founded Andantino Music Lessons Academy with a passion to share his love for music. His teaching philosophy incorporates techniques like Orff and Kodaly, as well as popular methods such as Alfred, Bastien, and Suzuki. He believes in providing a nurturing environment where students can grow both musically and personally, ensuring each lesson is a stepping stone toward their artistic and academic success.
David’s mission is to help every student discover and trust in their musical talents while developing an appreciation for the rich and magical world of music.
